Keramikern Lisa Larson utbildades vid Svenska Slöjdföreningens skola i Göteborg 1950-54 och utomlands. Hon var verksam vid Gustavsberg studio 1954-80, där hon arbetade både med bruksgods, unika produkter och prydnadsgods. Därefter har hon arbetat som frilansdesigner för många olika producenter, bl a Duka, Höganäs, Jie-keramik, Rosenthal, Rörstrand m fl. Bland allmänheten är hon dock främst känd för sina serietillverkade prydnadsfiguriner för Gustavsberg, t ex Lilla och Stora Zoo (1955 och 1957), ABC-flickorna (1958) och Noaks Ark (1978). Figurinen "Samhällsdebatten" och "Pippi" tillhör de mest eftersökta modellerna tillsammans med hennes stengodsskulpturer i unikat.
