Bukowskis is the leading Nordic auction house. Every year, our specialists review tens of thousands of items. During spring 2010, we sold art and antiques for 220 million SEK. We take our business seriously and with passion. We believe that the key to a successfully closed deal lies in the social interaction between the auctioneer and the client. Our ambition is to offer your items an adequate and experienced judgement and a maximum marketing effort to achieve the best hammer price.

Valuation is carried out free of charge, prior to the sale. If you have property you wish to sell, Bukowskis’ team of specialists and client service representatives can help you through the entire process.

  1. Valuation and decision to sell
  2. Contract and reserve price
  3. Payment

1. Valuation and decision to sell

We offer valuation in several ways:

Based on the auction estimates, you and Bukowskis specialists will decide whether your property is appropriate for sale at auction. We will also recommend venue and possible sale timing. If you decide to proceed, you will sign a contract, and Bukowskis will take the property in for cataloguing and photography.

2. Contract and reserve price

For every lot, Bukowskis charges the seller a vendor’s commission and sale-related expenses which include the cost of insuring the property while on our premises and charges for catalogue photography, plus VAT. A specialist will discuss these charges with you at the time of consignment.
